Stacked Imbalance
Highlight sequences of one‑sided aggression inside the footprint.
Stacked Imbalance highlights vertical sequences of aggressive buying or selling inside the footprint. Instead of a single dominant print, you see multiple consecutive price levels where one side consistently takes control. These streaks reveal intent, pressure and initiative in a way that isolated imbalances cannot.
Stacked sequences often mark moments where one side is actively pushing the market — not just participating, but driving the auction. They provide a clean, structural signal of initiative, aggression and directional conviction.
Stacked Zones
Highlight where one side dominates multiple price levels in a row.
Stacked Zones appear when several consecutive price levels show clear dominance from either buyers or sellers. These streaks reveal initiative — moments where one side is actively pressing the market rather than simply reacting.
Visually, stacked sequences stand out as vertical blocks or frames inside the footprint, making directional pressure easy to spot even in fast‑moving markets.
Stacked Zone Modes
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Directional Dominance | Highlights consecutive levels where one side consistently overwhelms the other. |
| Vertical Streaks | Groups imbalances into clean, structural sequences across multiple price levels. |
| Intensity Highlighting | Uses color brightness and saturation to emphasize strong initiative. |
| Frame‑Only Mode | Draws stacked sequences using only a colored frame for a minimalistic look. |

Detection Logic
Understand how stacked sequences are identified inside each candle.
The footprint scans each candle from bottom to top and checks whether buyers or sellers dominate at each price level. When several levels in a row show the same directional imbalance, they form a stacked sequence.
Only streaks that reach the required length are highlighted. This filters out noise and focuses on meaningful, structured aggression — where one side is clearly pressing the market.
Detection Modes
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Minimum Streak Length | Defines how many consecutive levels are required to form a stacked sequence. |
| Imbalance Ratio | Determines how dominant one side must be at each level to count as part of the streak. |
| Directional Coloring | Uses separate colors for buy‑side and sell‑side stacked sequences. |
| Calm‑Zone Filter | Optionally highlight stacked sequences only outside calm zones. |
